A Verse Book Club: The Booker Longlist

A reading relay of the 2025 Booker Prize longlist | September – December 2025

Four books. Four readers. Four months of reading.

This is no ordinary book club.

From mid-September 2025, you’ll join a small circle of readers for a postal relay through four hand-picked titles from the 2025 Booker Prize longlist. All under 300 pages, all critically acclaimed, all chosen for variety, depth, and discovery.

You’ll spend three weeks with each book before posting it (Tracked 48) to the next reader in your circle. Along the way, you’ll leave your thoughts on a card inside each book, building a chain of shared impressions and thoughts.

There are no group chats, no online discussions. Just you and the book. At the end, we’ll meet in London (or online) to swap books, share perspectives, and finally meet the group.

What’s included

• Four novels from the Booker Prize longlist (RRP £60+)
• A place in a group of four readers for the postal relay
• A custom Verse bookmark + insert for each book
• Your first book posted to you by us (Tracked 48)
• An optional in-person meet-up in London at the end - for those not in London we can organise an online meet

What’s not included

• Postage when you send books on to the next reader (~£3 per send, Royal Mail Tracked 48. We recommend pre-booking a collection, they bring the label + pick up from you!)

Dates

• Start: Monday 15 September 2025
• End: Sunday 14 December 2025
• 3 weeks per book + 1 mid-club “slow week” for catch-up

Places are limited and sell out fast.

Spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis in groups of four. Once your group is full, your reading relay is set.
